30X40 is a design-focused, residential architecture firm founded by award-winning architect Eric W. Reinholdt. We design simple, modern, site-specific homes. We’re inspired by our rugged surroundings, humble materials, agrarian building forms, and modernist detailing. Our studio is located on the midcoast of Maine on Mount Desert Island, home to Acadia National Park. While many of our projects are located here in Maine, we accept – and are currently designing – commissions throughout the United States.
